The downside of publicity
I’m loving the changes to WordPress but there is a down side to making a beta public.
With the recent additions of showing the top blogs on the main page of wordpress.com comes spammers. I’ve recieved multiple comments asking for invites with a small blurb of a compliment on whatever the post me be talking about. Sad.

Wrath
Here’s a google Earth image i took of New Orleans before the hurricane…

Going to New Orleans
The hurricane has impacted the lives of everyone in the United States. From losing homes to losing gas we have all been hurt by this event. So i’ll be heading to New Orleans in a week and a half to help out the efforts there. Apart of the ministry part i’ll be helping with the medical efforts.
diabetic inhalers
This summer i had the priviledge of working with a few kids that were severely diabetic. One of them actually hit over 600 which is fatal but luckily he was okay. Scientists have developed an inhaler to replace shots and they say it is much more effective than the shots because it enters the blood stream quicker.
10mp camera
I am drooling over this…Sony has released a 10 megapixel camera…
donations to the effort
The “refuges” from the hurricane are everywhere. I just found out i have tons in my small city and i didn’t even know. The hearts of Americans are really opening up to see people affected by the hurricane. I can’t wait to see how strong the rebuilding effort will be when the water is pumped out. It is sad to see all these bodies they are finding now.
IE/Firefox debate
I just caught wind of a nasty feudal debate between firefox/IE bloggers. They were getting really in depth on the conversation…so much as they pulled out coding and showed the flaws of each browser. I think this debate will go down with the abortion and euthanasia debates…no end in sight.
PHP errors across the board
So i got the beta-vbulletin a few hours ago and have been messing with it. The thing is really buggy, i’m surprised there are so many errors in such a founded product. Sure it’s beta but 36 errors on just one section? That’s crazy.
Maybe it’s time to change back to infusion and get them another chance. I really wish linux supported ASP better then i could use SHNForum, a sweet version of Snitz.
